How to fix an umbrella tool magazine reset failure on a machining center?

Today, a customer from Thailand sent a message regarding a VMC500 small CNC machining center with an umbrella-type tool magazine that he previously purchased from us. During a tool change process, someone accidentally pressed the Reset button, causing the machine to freeze.

He is asking us how to recover the Siemens 808D Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) and resolve this issue.

It is very simple: locate this component on the machine and manually press the two red buttons. The tool magazine will retract, allowing you to reset it.
